Whether you are a sophomore in a residence hall, a faculty member looking for a convenient place to eat with colleagues or a graduate students spending too much time studying to cook, there’s a meal plan to help you eat at state.
- Residential plans. If you’re a student living on campus, these plans will keep you well-fed.
- Commuter plans. If you’re a student living off campus, you can still Eat at State.
- Faculty and staff plans. Discover how easy it is for faculty and staff to Eat at State.
- Owen Hall meal plan. A plan for residents of Owen Hall.
- University Department Meal Cards. MSU Departments may purchase a meal card for business purposes as outlined in the MSU Manual of Business Procedures. Cards are intended for groups of 30 or less.
Spartan Cash
Spartan Cash is a declining balance account available as a free service to MSU students, faculty and staff. Cardholders may access their account by presenting their valid MSU ID at any participating location. Visit www.spartancash.com for more info or call 517-355-2274.
Combo-X-Change and Flex Option
With any meal plan, you can use your meals as:
Combo-X-Change: Allows students to use their meal swipes in Culinary Services retail locations, including Sparty’s, Union Pizzeria, Serrano’s and Riverwalk Market. Residents can use it only once per day but Commuters, Faculty and Staff can use it as often as desired
Flex Option: Offers students a cash equivalency to use in Culinary Services retail locations, including Sparty’s, Union Pizzeria, Serrano’s and Riverwalk Market.
No Meal Plan?
You can still dine with us anytime. Purchase your meal at the door of any residence hall dining room.
Breakfast: $5.50 (plus tax)
Lunch, Dinner, Late-Night: $8.75 (plus tax)
