Meal Plans for students living on campus
*Students living in University Apartments, Van Hoosen and Williams, can purchase a commuter meal plan.
There are a number of meal plans available to students living on campus. Meal plan rates are subject to change based on rates to be set by Michigan State University Housing for the 2010-2011 school year. Plans for residential students are pre-arranged through their housing contract.
Meal Plan Prices for Fall 2010-Summer 2011
Platinum Plan. $2,581/per semester. Unlimited meals at any Residential Dining Hall with $300 Spartan Cash and eight guest meal passes. One Combo-X-Change at any Culinary Services retail location (Riverwalk Market at Owen Hall, Sparty's, Union Pizzeria and Serrano's) per day, Mon.- Fri.
Gold Plan. $2,431/per semester. Unlimited meals at any Residential Dining Hall with $150 Spartan cash and four guest meal passes. One Combo-X-Change at any Culinary Services retail location (Riverwalk Market at Owen Hall, Sparty's, Union Pizzeria and Serrano's) per day, Mon.- Fri.
Silver Plan. $2,281/per semester. Unlimited meals at any Residential Dining Hall. One Combo-X-change at any Culinary Services retail location (Riverwalk Market at Owen Hall, Sparty's, Union Pizzeria and Serrano's) per day, Mon.- Fri.
Other Information
The University picture ID is used for access to the dining room. The Dining Services ticket checker electronically scans the ID to see if the meal is available in the customer's meal plan.
Please Note: Meal plan changes during the semester will take effect beginning on the Sunday after you make the change since meals are counted during the calendar week, Sunday through Saturday.
Once a Spartan Cash account is opened by selecting the Platinum Plan or the Gold Plan, the funds in the Spartan Cash account are subject to the terms and conditions for a Spartan Cash account.
