Throughout March, Culinary Services will observe National Nutrition Month. Registered Dietitian Gina Keilen plans to hold weekly events, excluding the week of spring break, which will focus on this year’s theme, “Put Your Best Fork Forward.”
Learn important tips like how to navigate the grocery store, the different types of fat in foods and their pros/cons, details about whole grains in honor of Whole Grain Sampling Day and more. Interactive games will help attendees learn about chosen topics, and participants have the opportunity to win a prize at each event.
