The James Beard Foundation (JBF) Blended Burger Project™ is a nationwide contest and challenge to make a “blended burger” by blending ground meat with finely chopped mushrooms to create a delicious, healthier and more sustainable burger. Entrées

  • MSU's Award-winning Smoked Cheddar Cheeseburger* - $7
    ON-THE-GO Food Truck’s signature item, featuring Michigan beef, MSU Dairy Store smoked cheddar cheese blend, roma tomatoes, MSU Student Organic Farm greens and red onion on a lightly toasted local Breadsmith bun.

  • Blended Mushroom Burger* - $7
    Beef and mushroom patty crusted with Bailey GREENhouse and Urban Farm oyster mushroom powder, topped with Swiss cheese, crispy shoulder bacon, lettuce, house-made tomato jam and crispy fried onions on a lightly toasted local Breadsmith bun.

  • Raspberry and Mozzarella Grilled Cheese - $6 (vegetarian)
    Toasted almonds and sliced mozzarella on local Breadsmith peasant bread, served with a side of MSU Student Organic Farm raspberry jam.

  • Farm Fresh Salad Wrap - $6 (vegetarian)
    MSU Student Organic Farm spring mix, shredded carrots, sliced bell peppers, and shredded parmesan, on a honey wheat tortilla, with a side of house-made Italian dressing; served cold or grilled.

  • Chicken Tacos* - $7
    Grilled chicken, strawberry red pepper sauce, MSU Student Organic Farm spring mix and queso fresco on two lightly toasted flour tortillas.

*Substitute meat in any entrée with house-smoked, Louisiana seasoned pastrami tofu! Add a side and beverage for only $1.

  • Smoked Chicken Pastor Tacos* - 1 for $4, 2 for $7
    House-smoked chicken, al pastor sauce, shredded MSU Student Organic Farm cabbage and pickled red onion on a lightly browned flour tortilla

  • Smoked Turkey Gouda Wrap - $3
    Sliced smoked turkey, smoked gouda cheese and MSU Student Organic Farm spring mix on half of a honey wheat wrap, served with a side of honey mustard dressing

  • Fried French Toast Sticks - 3 for $4, 6 for $6
    Crispy fried French toast sticks tossed in cinnamon sugar and served with Michigan maple cream cheese icing.
